1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you import or create in Bookinu. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display it only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to use any content you import, including content from websites, feeds, videos and podcasts.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Bookinu to infringe others' copyrights, publish unlawful content, send spam, or attempt to disrupt the service.
4. Payments, trials and cancelling
Prices. Prices are in US dollars and shown before any sales tax. Where tax applies, it is added at checkout.
Free trial. Monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial, once per person. A card is required to start. Checkout shows the exact date and time your card will first be charged; unless you cancel before then, your plan starts and renews automatically. During a trial, exports carry a small "Made with" credit and accounts are limited to one book.
Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically each month (or year, if you switch to annual billing) until you cancel. If a payment fails, editing, exporting and your published links pause until the card is updated.
Cancelling. Cancel anytime from the billing page in two clicks. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged. Cancelling a paid plan stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Your books stay saved; published flipbooks and pages go offline until a plan is active again.
Lifetime. The lifetime plan is a one-time payment for the features listed at purchase, for the life of the service, and includes a one-time AI credit. It is limited to the first 500 buyers. A refunded lifetime purchase ends lifetime access.
Allowances. Monthly AI words, AI images, transcription and narration allowances reset each month and don't roll over.
Price changes. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a price change affects your plan. You can cancel before it takes effect.
EU and UK customers. You have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund. By starting to create or export during those 14 days, you ask us to begin the service right away, and a refund then covers the unused part.
5. Refunds
If you're not happy within 14 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund.
6. AI features
AI-generated text, transcripts and narration may contain errors. Review everything before you publish.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Bookinu available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bookinu is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
